Sony Ericsson Hikaru shows its face to the World

The first photo of the long rumored and discussed Sony Ericsson Hikaru leaked today. It is a small and sleek Walkman-branded metal slider with an 8 megapixels camera and rich connectivity options. Sony Ericsson Hikaru makes its first public appearance today after rumors about it have been circling around for months. It is a compact slider with metal housing, supporting a 2.6" TFT screen, an 8 megapixels shooter with LED flash and 8GB memory card in the retail box. Beside the extra large screen, Hikaru will also feature Wi-Fi and GPS plus a 3.5mm audio jack - a first for the Sony Ericsson Walkmans. The Sony Ericsson Hikaru also comes with the latest Walkman player, version 4.0, stereo speakers and dedicated music keys. Finally, the Sony Ericsson Hikaru will have a  kickstand at the back, near the digital camera, (Nokia N96 style but cooler), which can come in handy for watching videos in landscape mode on the desk.
However, the Sony Ericsson Hikaru will be announced on 15th February, right before Barcelona's MWC.
