Is Obama able to keep his BlackBerry...!!!

caption: A Secret Service agent moves to retrieve the president-elect's BlackBerry at Reagan National Airport on January 16, 2009.

(Credit: AFP PHOTO/Mandel NGAN)

According to a source, it is heard that Blackberry's gadgets are Obama's favorite gadget, and he was rarely without it during the 2008 campaign. In 2001, George Bush famously gave up e-mail, and there was plenty of speculation that Obama would too, either for privacy or open-government reasons. Last week, they suggested the Sectera Edge as a secure PDA-phone, it's rated for SECRET data and TOP SECRET voice, that might do the trick.

Now we're hearing from a report on The Atlantic's Web site that Obama will be able to keep his BlackBerry after all. Apparently it's been outfitted with encrypted software secure enough for routine personal messages, meaning, if this report is well, there will no Microsoft Windows Mobile in the president's immediate future.

We're still waiting, by the way, to hear back from the National Security Agency. They said they'd be happy to entertain questions from us, and it's been over a week. We're not holding our breath.

Windows Mobile Sales surpass iPhone during Last Quarter...

The fourth quarter of the last year seems rather good for Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system which managed to gain a little more market share than Apple's iPhone operating system. At a conference call on the fourth quarter earnings, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer stated that there have been around 5 million handsets running on the Windows Mobile platform that were shipped during the last three months of 2008 which is far ahead of the sales of Apple's operating system's sales i.e., only about 4 million iPhone 3G units shipped in the same time frame.
In the first two or three quarters of the past year, Apple iPhone gain so much popularity that it pushes the Windows Mobile to the fourth place, it is because of the fact that smaller price of iPhone compared to the WinMo counterparts, but after the release of Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5, the position of market entirely changes apart.
But this competition doesn't ends, both vendors are trying their level Best to release such handsets which may win the market and increase their financial bars to the peak.

Year 2008 was a financially successful one for Samsung

Basically the past year was a very financially successful year for Samsung as it is one of the Top 3 phone manufacturers to announce their financial results, according to a source, Samsung the Korean company recorded 22% increase in their mobile handsets sales totaling approximately 200 million units shipped worldwide in 2008. This gives Samsung a market share of 15.8%, well ahead of LG, the third ranking company in the handsets selling's ranking, but of course, its way behind Nokia (about 460 million handsets shipped worldwide in 2008).

After seeing such a success in the market worldwide, company has set quite high targets for itself for the year 2009 reaching an estimate of 29%. Its quite a tough target for the company which seems impossible but have to be achieved as now the target has been set and target to be achieved, company's professionals have to work hard and may give the market such a beauty which may increase their annual selling and may allow the company to achieve its goal.

Change ur Series 60v3 Menu To IPhone Menu...!!!

Hey there everyone, a very interesting news for IPhone lovers, but also don't want to change their Nokia Symbian phones and don't want to buy Iphone because of its price or some negative aspects that IPhone have, as I am one of the IPhone lover, but I also don't want to change my Nokia N73 Music Edition as well, because in my country Pakistan, IPhone's price is too high as well as its resale is almost 5% of its purchase thats why I don't want to risk my money.

So coming towards the news, you are all surprised to know that you can give your Symbian S60v3 (like Nokia N73) menu look like menu of IPhone by just following the below mentioned steps:
1. Just Download the software.
2. Install it in your handset.
3. Before installing it, you must ensure that your phone must have Secman BiNPDA 2008 (A security manager for automatically root signing the unsigned softwares).
4. Get more information about BiNPDA, just pay a visit at the link and probably you'll get sufficient information regarding BiNPDA Secman and make sure that BiNPDA Secman is necessary to install that application or software.
5. After installation, a shortcut or the icon of the Symbian Plus software, just by clicking or by pressing the OK button of your Nokia phone and thats it you can see your Nokia menu view as IPhone menu view.

Then you can enjoy and do the following steps and manager your menu accordingly:
1. Add an Application or Game to your folders.
2. Delete an Application or Game from your folders.
3. Move an Application or Game icon as you want.
4. Can exit from the Menu and get to the normal menu of your Nokia phone when you want.
5. Duplicate an application or Game icon.
6. Change the Background.
7. Change the view to Grid view as well as List view accordingly.

Don't worry at all about the side-effects of this software as I have installed this software and it is functioning 100% successfully on my handset as you can see below:

Windows Mobile 6.5 has leaked and its been already installed on an HTC device, mean to say that its not officially launched or released, but leaks out. Well, Windows Mobile 6.5 doesn't make any difference as you can see its features in the upcoming upgrade installed on the HTC Blue Angel, not get so much confused, yes thats right - that old and huge PocketPC  from 2004. Nominees for the 14th Global Mobile Awards are...

Now every one's expecting that Samsung i900 Omnia, Samsung i8510 INNOV8, HTC Touch Diamond, HTC Touch HD must be in the nominees as these are the handsets having impressive and attractive looks, but you are all surprised to know that these handsets and the handsets having 8 megapixels camera are far behind the finalist nominees for the 14th Global Mobile Awards.
Now coming towards the nominees finalists, they are as follows:
First of all, its the 3's INQ1 which is not so impressive and smart, but sometimes smartness of handsets  is not necessary to attract peoples. Basically what that INQ1 has that it put most popular socializing services (Skype, Facebook, Windows Live Messenger) and other services like that.
Some of the images of the INQ1 is as follows:

Now moving to the second nominee which is LG KS360, it is also having some online socializing services like Facebook and MySpace, the most prominent feature of this handset is the QWERTY keyboard which make texting easy and user-friendly.
The other three handsets which are the nominees for the 14th Global Mobile Awards are almost well-known as well as desired. Those are Nokia E71, T-Mobile G1 and RIM's BlackBerry Storm 9500.

The winner of the 14th Global Mobile Awards will be announced during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009 on 17th February in Barcelona.
Until then you can check out the past year 2008's nominees and the reviews of the winner which is Sony Ericsson W910.

LG becomes 3rd ranked globally for selling 100 Million Handsets in 2008...!!!

At the end of the year we saw a little surprise about the sales of the handsets and that surprise is that Korean manufacturer LG managed to go ahead of both Sony Ericsson and Motorolla and successfully secured a third position globally in terms of sold units, although LG is far behind Nokia and Samsung which are the first and second world Global sellers of handsets respectively.
Now coming towards that how much LG leaves behind the Sony Ericsson and Motorolla handsets sale unit? The answer to this question is that LG have managed to sell 100 million handsets which is just 0.1 million more than the previous number three Motorolla. Sony Ericsson which is now the fifth seller of Handsets have sold 96.6 million units for the past year.
In short words, future of Motorolla and Sony Ericsson seems quite uncerain as rumor has it that the crisis hasn't been overcome.
Now the next target of LG is Samaung w sold 200 million unit past year, so in the present year 2009, Samsung have to take precautionary measures to maintain its status and LG have to increase its sales atleast two times its present sale to defeat Samsung, although Nokia have outdone all by a wide margin, selling 470 million units throughout the year, but the year 2008 was not so good for Nokia as well as previous years.
As a conclusion, we may say that the past year is lucky for LG Mobiles, now lets see what these vendors do in the upcoming year...!!!

Microsoft supposed to push Windows Mobile 6.5 next month...!!!

Someone has leaked information that suggests that we will be seeing the next generation of Windows Mobile named as Windows Mobile 6.5 along with three new mobile services i.e., SkyBox, SkyLine and SkyMarket services by Microsoft at MWC 2009 in Barcelona next month. As we all know that Apple have MobileMe and their corresponding AppStore and even BlackBerry are pushing on online Application center and Google have a whole suite of Online services, Windows Mobile has nothing new or attractive to show.
The services that are provided by the Microsoft are SkyBox, SkyLine and SkyMarket which will going to be launched in Feburary at the MWC 2009.
Now the question arises that what are these services? The answer to this question is as follows:

SkyBox provides wireless sync capabilities to WinMo users. Contacts, messages, organizer events, files, backup and restore functions will be some of the upcoming features of this service.

SkyLine is aimed at the business clients. It offers the same features as SkyBox, but allows corporate clients to host their Exchange servers with Microsoft and use the wireless synchronization on all the corporate phones.

SkyMarket, as you can guess, is the answer to Apple AppStore. The Microsoft's mobile marketplace will gather the hundreds of Windows Mobile applications in one place for the first time, so users can buy and download them with one click.

As of now no one knows what improvements will be there in the Windows Mobile version 6.5. The first thing that comes into mind regarding version 6.5 is that maybe Multi-touch support, UI recognition and better thumb optimization are the upgrades that we might get in Windows Mobile version 6.5, but all questions arise in our mind will be answered first-hand in Feburary when we visit the MWC 2009.

Now friends, lets wait and watch...!!!
