JaJah App Now Turns Your iPod touch into a VoIP Phone...!!!

JaJah announced the release of an application that will allow the iPod touch to be used as a VoIP phone, essentially giving it iPhone-like functionality. The new application will enable networks to launch the service under their own brand and provide customers with the ability to make phone calls and send messages to any phone in the world using their iPod. The company said it can cut calling costs by up to 98 percent. To use JaJah on your iPod Touch, all you need is a Wi-Fi connection. Calls will require a microphone headset which Apple itself sells. So, JaJah it's the first that let's you send/receive SMS messages over Wi-Fi. Using the application requires downloading the client software from Apple Inc.'s Application Store to a recent-model. iPod touch equipped with a microphone headset. The company will also consider making the application directly available to consumers via the Apple Apps Store, the Spokesman said.
