Windows Mobile Sales surpass iPhone during Last Quarter...

The fourth quarter of the last year seems rather good for Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating system which managed to gain a little more market share than Apple's iPhone operating system. At a conference call on the fourth quarter earnings, Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer stated that there have been around 5 million handsets running on the Windows Mobile platform that were shipped during the last three months of 2008 which is far ahead of the sales of Apple's operating system's sales i.e., only about 4 million iPhone 3G units shipped in the same time frame.
In the first two or three quarters of the past year, Apple iPhone gain so much popularity that it pushes the Windows Mobile to the fourth place, it is because of the fact that smaller price of iPhone compared to the WinMo counterparts, but after the release of Microsoft's Windows Mobile 6.5, the position of market entirely changes apart.
But this competition doesn't ends, both vendors are trying their level Best to release such handsets which may win the market and increase their financial bars to the peak.
