Is Obama able to keep his BlackBerry...!!!

caption: A Secret Service agent moves to retrieve the president-elect's BlackBerry at Reagan National Airport on January 16, 2009.
(Credit: AFP PHOTO/Mandel NGAN)According to a source, it is heard that Blackberry's gadgets are Obama's favorite gadget, and he was rarely without it during the 2008 campaign. In 2001, George Bush famously gave up e-mail, and there was plenty of speculation that Obama would too, either for privacy or open-government reasons. Last week, they suggested the Sectera Edge as a secure PDA-phone, it's rated for SECRET data and TOP SECRET voice, that might do the trick.
Now we're hearing from a report on The Atlantic's Web site that Obama will be able to keep his BlackBerry after all. Apparently it's been outfitted with encrypted software secure enough for routine personal messages, meaning, if this report is well, there will no Microsoft Windows Mobile in the president's immediate future.
We're still waiting, by the way, to hear back from the National Security Agency. They said they'd be happy to entertain questions from us, and it's been over a week. We're not holding our breath.

Microsoft supposed to push Windows Mobile 6.5 next month...!!!

Someone has leaked information that suggests that we will be seeing the next generation of Windows Mobile named as Windows Mobile 6.5 along with three new mobile services i.e., SkyBox, SkyLine and SkyMarket services by Microsoft at MWC 2009 in Barcelona next month. As we all know that Apple have MobileMe and their corresponding AppStore and even BlackBerry are pushing on online Application center and Google have a whole suite of Online services, Windows Mobile has nothing new or attractive to show.
SkyBox provides wireless sync capabilities to WinMo users. Contacts, messages, organizer events, files, backup and restore functions will be some of the upcoming features of this service.
SkyLine is aimed at the business clients. It offers the same features as SkyBox, but allows corporate clients to host their Exchange servers with Microsoft and use the wireless synchronization on all the corporate phones.
SkyMarket, as you can guess, is the answer to Apple AppStore. The Microsoft's mobile marketplace will gather the hundreds of Windows Mobile applications in one place for the first time, so users can buy and download them with one click.
As of now no one knows what improvements will be there in the Windows Mobile version 6.5. The first thing that comes into mind regarding version 6.5 is that maybe Multi-touch support, UI recognition and better thumb optimization are the upgrades that we might get in Windows Mobile version 6.5, but all questions arise in our mind will be answered first-hand in Feburary when we visit the MWC 2009.
Now friends, lets wait and watch...!!!
